Welcome,

My name is Mike Wamungu. I’m an LA-based artist, researcher, and technologist investigating how intelligent systems alter creative life — how they change the way we make, collaborate, remember, and imagine. My approach channels interdisciplinary methods, embodied knowledge, and speculative futures to imagine and create alternative possibiilities. This work often takes the shape of products, prototypes, systems, images, objects, movement, and narrative both digital and tangible, enduring and ephemeral, practical and speculative.

I currently lead research on emerging creative workflows and generative AI at Adobe. I’m available for select projects at the intersection of technology and culture. Let's work together.
